[Aug 31, 2023] Best dinner we had in Japan! We made reservations online in advance. We selected a 150g wagyu course and after that plus drinks our total was 40,000 yen, so quite a lot. But it was a really fun experience.
Without spoiling a lot… make sure you are physically able to go through tight spaces and stairs. Entering the restaurant was a small maze but super fun! Every single course we got there was some kind of show, even the drinks. We even got a personal magic show during dessert. There is a Photo Booth at the end too with tons of fun props. We enjoyed this dinner so much as a couple, they really put a lot of effort in the whole restaurant and every single meal. I would think kids would enjoy this just as much or more!! We got our own Japanese style private room too.
The waitress and all the other staff speak English as well. If we come back to Tokyo, no doubt we will give them another visit. Worth every yen!
Second time coming here after a decade - this time with kids! Book in advance online - they cater well for dietary requirements. The cost is reflective of the experience you receive which is definitely unique and one to remember! Especially if you have young kids! Service was fantastic, food was tasty and intriguing and the atmosphere is a memory you will keep with whoever you go with!
As others have said before, it is a quite pricey but in my opinion well worth it and I'm very glad I went here!
The staff members are all very accommodating and soo kind. Rest assured, they will give you a great ninja experience.
The courses themselves were presented in interesting ways. I've had the vegetarian course and was definitely not disappointed. The magic show was also entertaining and the ninja was very friendly!
Would definitely recommend this as an experience and will also gladly come back again. (I was also full after the courses!)
It was a pleasant and fun exercise!
All the dishes was made very well ,I enjoyed every bite.
And a big thank you to our Ninja Todoroki ✨️
Went here today for dinner. The ninja village was a bit of a dark maze but the staffs were very helpful and mindful of people’s safety. I love that the tables and seating are separate so more intimate and you can enjoy the food and the service. Food from the first course to the end were just to die for, very creative, top produce and well balanced. Each meal was creative and paired with some showmanship. Some food are disguised to look something else like the omelette and radish at the end with soy we’re actually pudding, Apple compote and caramel sauce.
The Master Ninja at the end was very entertaining with his magic presentation.
The experience has a wow factor, staffs great, food divine. Booking is a must!
This place was unbelievable. It's on the higher-priced side but definitely worth every penny - the food, atmosphere, performance, and master ninja were all a fantastic experience, adults and children alike! From the very beginning, even before you enter, it's well performed! The wagyu Steak really was melt in your mouth and everything was so delicious. My picky eaters ate everything! Highly recommend you make this special dinner a part of your trip!
Pricey but absolutely worth it for the experience and the good food! From the moment you enter, you're immersed in the story and atmosphere. Its nice that the tables are all closed off so you can enjoy your meal and focus on who you're visiting with. The waiters and waitresses were enthusiastic and into their characters, which was really appreciated. If you spend over a certain amount, which is easy with a group of four, they do a private magic show at your table.
We ordered the cheapest sets available and were still very pleased with how tasty they were. I really enjoyed the cocktails myself. One funny thing to note is they recommend you have the staff guide you to and from the bathroom as it can be easy to get lost. Even the bathrooms were beautiful and decked out with flower arrangements. I would love to go back someday.
Make sure to make a reservation! You have to pick the courses beforehand.
We came here almost 13 years ago and fell in love with the concept and so this time around, we wanted to try it again and made a reservation 5 months in advance. Even though we arrived 50mins late, the staff were extremely understanding and there are no first and second sitting so we didn’t feel rushed. The experience from start to finish was just as fun as 13 years ago and they even have a kids menu here which is convenient for families. We couldn’t film the magic ninja but were allowed to film everywhere else and the night ended with a photoshoot too. I know a lot of people shy away at the price (we paid $400+ for family of 3) but considering some restaurants in Sydney cost $600-1000 I think this was worth every dollar for the experience and memories. If you love magic tricks and themed restaurants this is definitely a must!
